Recipe, Köttbullar (Susannes Swedish Meatballs), 4 persons
1. Put 4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs (or two medium-sized, mashed, cooked potatoes) , 1 tablespoon of potato flour (you can use 1,5 tablespoons of flour) and 1,5 decilitre of milk in a bowl. Leave it for at least 10 minutes.
2. Then put 1 egg, 1,5 teaspoon of salt, some black- (or white-) pepper and 1 tablespoon of grated onions in the bowl. Mix it all together.
3. Add about 400 grams of minced meat. Mix. If you use lamb, add some Rosemary.
4. Roll into small balls and place them on a chopping-board.
5. Fry them in butter in a frying pan, about 3-5 minutes, depending of the size. Lower the temperatur after they got som colour.
6. Remove the meatballs (keep them warm) from the frying pan. Pour 3 deciliter of wather in the frying pan, add 1 stock cube.
7. Mix 2 tablespoons of flour with 1 deciliter of milk. Pour, while stiring, in to the frying pan. Boil for 4 minutes.
8. Add about 1 teaspoon of soya sause and 3 tablespoons of cream.
9. Serve the meatballs and the sause together with boiled potatoes and grated carrots. Lingonberries if you got...
